# List the codes

`GET /v1/codes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.propcode.com.au/api`
- URL: `https://app.propcode.com.au/api/v1/codes`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The complying development codes the Pro report answers for, in the report’s order. Complying development is NSW only.

## Response `200`

The codes.

- CodeList
  - `object` 'list', required
  - `data` Code[], required
    - `id` string, required: The code's id.
    - `name` string, required: The code's name.
    - `group` CodeGroup, required: A group of codes.
      - `id` string, required: The group's id: a stable slug, such as housing-code.
      - `name` string, required
    - `position` number, required: Its place in the report's order.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request isn’t valid. Codes: `key_in_url`.
- `401`: No valid key. Codes: `missing_api_key`, `invalid_api_key`.
- `429`: Over a limit: retry after Retry-After. Codes: `rate_limited`, `sandbox_daily_limit`.
- `500`: Our error. Codes: `internal_error`.
