Eastern date (the slate). No book retails this as a single market, so we synthesize the
line from each book's primary game totals and pair it with the actual
total runs scored once the slate completes.

Default: today (US Eastern). Pass ?date=YYYY-MM-DD for a historical day.
Free tier — no auth gating beyond the standard API key.
