# Get multi-channel group status

`GET /api/v1/verifications/multi-channel/{group_id}/status`

## Request

Poll the status of a multi-channel verification group. Returns a single group-level view with per-channel statuses and, once verified, the winning channel and its proof token.

- `group_id` string, required: Verification group ID

Group status

- MultiChannelGroupStatusResponse: Polling status of a multi-channel verification group
  - `group_id` string, required
  - `status` 'pending' | 'verified' | 'expired', required: Group-level status: verified as soon as any channel completes
  - `winning_channel` 'whatsapp' | 'telegram' | 'sms', required: Phone verification channel available for multi-channel groups
  - `channels` object[], required: Per-channel statuses without per-channel error detail
    - `channel` 'whatsapp' | 'telegram' | 'sms', required: Phone verification channel available for multi-channel groups
    - `verification_id` string, required: MongoDB ObjectId
    - `status` 'pending' | 'verified' | 'failed' | 'expired' | 'revoked' | 'cancelled', required: Current status of the verification
  - `proof` object: Proof token of the winning channel (present when verified)
    - `token` string, required: Signed JWT proof token (ES256; verify against the JWKS key named by the token's `kid`)
    - `expires_at` string, date-time, required: When the proof expires
    - `confidence` 'high' | 'standard' | 'degraded': Verification confidence level (present for SMS verifications)

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Verification group not found
