# Resend verification

`POST /api/v1/verifications/{id}/resend`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.proof.holdings`
- URL: `https://api.proof.holdings/api/v1/verifications/{id}/resend`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Resend the verification challenge (email only). Generates a new challenge code and sends a new email. The verification must be in `pending` status.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: MongoDB ObjectId

## Response `200`

Verification resent

- ResendVerificationResponse: Response after resending verification email
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `message` string, required
  - `expires_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid status or unsupported verification type
- `404`: Verification not found
