# Stream verification events (SSE)

`GET /api/v1/verifications/{id}/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.proof.holdings`
- URL: `https://api.proof.holdings/api/v1/verifications/{id}/events`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Subscribe to real-time verification status updates via Server-Sent Events. Use `EventSource` to connect. Sends `connected` event on open, then `status_changed` events as the verification progresses. Includes 30-second heartbeat to keep connection alive through Cloudflare.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: MongoDB ObjectId

## Response `200`

SSE event stream

## Other responses

- `404`: Verification not found
- `429`: Too many concurrent SSE connections
