# Claim request assets

`POST /api/v1/me/verification-requests/{id}/claim`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.proof.holdings`
- URL: `https://api.proof.holdings/api/v1/me/verification-requests/{id}/claim`
- Auth: API key in cookie `auth_token`

Claim the verified phone and email assets of a verification request that this browser is entitled to, by the HttpOnly `__Host-proof_verifier` cookie the verify routes set: a phone verification this browser started, or an email challenge this browser completed (code entered or link opened here). Holding the request id entitles nobody, and this route never writes a test-mode verification.

Assets claimed

  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Request not completed
- `404`: Not found, or this browser is entitled to none of the request's verifications
