# Get usage statistics

`GET /api/v1/me/usage`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.proof.holdings`
- URL: `https://api.proof.holdings/api/v1/me/usage`
- Auth: API key in cookie `auth_token`

Get verification usage statistics for the current billing period. Also reports `billing_enabled` (whether billing is live), `card_on_file` (a card is on file: a subscription Stripe may still charge — active, past_due, trialing or incomplete) and `hard_limit` (the usage at which new proof requests stop for a free account with no card, or null when no stop applies — always null while billing is off).

## Query parameters

- `period` string: Period in YYYY-MM format
- `months` integer
