# Set primary profile (via /me)

`POST /api/v1/me/profiles/{profileId}/primary`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.proof.holdings`
- URL: `https://api.proof.holdings/api/v1/me/profiles/{profileId}/primary`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `auth_token`
  - HTTP bearer

Set a profile as primary. Supports both JWT and API key authentication.

## Path parameters

- `profileId` string, required: Profile ID

## Response `200`

Primary profile updated

- SuccessResponse: Generic success response
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `403`: `account_key_required` — this API key is bound to one sub-account; account-level changes need an account-wide key or the dashboard.
- `404`: Profile not found
