# Preview phone removal

`GET /api/v1/me/phones/{id}/removal-preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.proof.holdings`
- URL: `https://api.proof.holdings/api/v1/me/phones/{id}/removal-preview`
- Auth: API key in cookie `auth_token`

What `DELETE /me/phones/{id}` would do — the counts the Remove dialog shows — or the reason it is refused. Reads nothing but the account; changes nothing.

## Response `200`

What removing Phone would do, or why it is refused (`allowed: false`)

- IdentifierRemovalPreview: What removing a phone or email would do; `allowed: false` carries the reason instead of the counts.
  - `allowed` boolean, required: False when a guard refuses the removal; the dialog shows `blocked.message` in its disabled state.
  - `blocked` object, nullable, required
    - `code` 'login_identifier' | 'last_login_method' | 'circles_need_phone', required
    - `message` string, required
  - `type` 'phone' | 'email'
  - `identifier` string: Masked.
  - `is_primary` boolean
  - `proofs` integer: Active proofs of this identifier that would be revoked.
  - `authorizations` integer: Approval consents naming it that would be revoked.
  - `hitl_configs_without_approver` object[]: Approval setups whose only approver channel this is; their pending requests would be declined.

    - `name` string, nullable, required
    - `pending_confirmations` integer, required
  - `circles` integer: Phones only: active Proof of Me circles, which follow the primary phone.
  - `new_primary` object, nullable: The row that becomes (or became) primary when the removed one was; null otherwise.

    - `identifier` string, required: Masked.
  - `lookalike_watch` 'repointed' | 'canceled' | 'unchanged': Emails only: what happens to the Lookalike Watch notification address.
  - `notice_to` string[]: Where the notice would go — captured before the row is gone.
