# Account deletion status

`GET /api/v1/me/account/deletion`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.proof.holdings`
- URL: `https://api.proof.holdings/api/v1/me/account/deletion`
- Auth: API key in cookie `auth_token`

Where the account stands with its deletion — the lock page's read. `state: none` for an account that is not scheduled. Reachable while locked (on the lock allowlist).

## Response `200`

The state, the date, the hold reason and invoice (if any), and whether cancel is still possible

- AccountDeletionStatus: Where the account stands with its deletion — the lock page's read
  - `state` 'none' | 'scheduled' | 'on_hold' | 'in_progress', required: `none` — not scheduled. `scheduled` — the 7-day grace period is running: the account is locked, its own proofs and delegations are suspended, its API keys refused, its public pages dark; cancel restores all of it. `on_hold` — the day-7 job stopped before anything irreversible: the final invoice is unpaid (`hold_reason: unpaid_invoice`, pay it from the lock page) or the account is admin-suspended; cancel is still possible. `in_progress` — past the point of no return; cancel is refused.

  - `final_invoice` object, nullable, required: Set while `on_hold` for an unpaid final invoice
    - `amount_due` number, required: In the currency's minor unit, as Stripe reports it

    - `hosted_invoice_url` string, nullable, required: Stripe's hosted page for paying this invoice — any card works there, since a locked account cannot update its card otherwise
    - `status` string, nullable, required
  - `can_cancel` boolean, required: True while `scheduled` or `on_hold`
  - `grace_days` integer, required
  - `delayed` boolean, required: True once the day-7 job has failed three times; the team has been alerted and finishes it — the lock page says it is taking longer
