# Request authorization for HITL config

`POST /api/v1/hitl/{id}/authorize`

## Request

Create authorizations for channels in an active HITL config that do not have one yet, dispatching consent messages to unauthorized recipients.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: MongoDB ObjectId

Authorization consent dispatch results

- HitlAuthorizationResponse: Response from requesting authorization consent for HITL channels
  - `hitl_id` string, required: MongoDB ObjectId
  - `authorizations` object[], required
    - `channel` string, required
    - `recipient` string, required: Channel recipient (chat_id, phone number, or BSUID)
    - `authorization_id` string, required: MongoDB ObjectId
    - `status` string, required
  - `message` string, required

## Other responses

- `404`: HITL config not found or not active
