# Revoke session

`DELETE /api/v1/auth/sessions/{sessionId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.proof.holdings`
- URL: `https://api.proof.holdings/api/v1/auth/sessions/{sessionId}`
- Auth: API key in cookie `auth_token`

Revoke a specific session. Cannot revoke current session (use /logout instead).

## Path parameters

- `sessionId` string, required: Auth session ID

## Response `200`

Session revoked

- SuccessResponse: Generic success response
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: `account_key_required` — this API key is bound to one sub-account; account-level changes need an account-wide key or the dashboard.
- `404`: Session not found
- `503`: The session could not be revoked right now (`session_not_revoked`). Try again.
