# Update a tracked URL

`PUT /api/v1/tracked-urls/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.promptingco.com`
- URL: `https://app.promptingco.com/api/v1/tracked-urls/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Fields you omit keep their stored values. Send null or an empty string to clear title, description, or documentId; an empty category resets it to other. url cannot be cleared.
