# Revise a content draft

`POST /api/v1/content/{id}/revision`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.promptingco.com`
- URL: `https://app.promptingco.com/api/v1/content/{id}/revision`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Submit an edited revision (`content`) or relaunch the generation agent with reviewer `feedback` (Pro plan). Both keep the draft in the review queue and reset a prior rejection.

- `id` string, required

## Request body

  - object: Submit an edited revision (human edit).
    - `content` string, required: Full replacement markdown for the draft body.
    - `title` string
    - `changeNote` string
    - `promptId` string: When provided, the revision is rejected if the draft belongs to a different prompt.
    - `expectedUpdatedAt` string, date-time: The draft's updatedAt from a prior read; the revision is rejected if the draft changed since.
  - object: Relaunch the generation agent with reviewer feedback.
    - `feedback` string, required: Reviewer feedback for an agent re-run of the draft.
