# Add a name to your sanctions watchlist

`POST /sanctions/watchlist`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prometiam.com/functions/v1/risk-api`
- URL: `https://api.prometiam.com/functions/v1/risk-api/sanctions/watchlist`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Requires the sanctions_watch scope (Starter and above). Body: `name` (2-200 chars, required), `entity_type` (person, company, vessel or aircraft, optional), `webhook_url` (https, optional: called when a new hit appears). Entry cap varies by tier.

- `400`: Validation error
