# Search corporate events, or a country's event feed

`GET /company-events/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prometiam.com/functions/v1/risk-api`
- URL: `https://api.prometiam.com/functions/v1/risk-api/company-events/search`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Search normalized company lifecycle events by company name or registration number. Without either, the call is the country's event feed (since 17 Oct 2026): every event of `country` (then required), newest first, from `date_from` (default 7 days ago, at most 31 days back) to `date_to`, filterable by `event_type`, paged with the same `cursor`, 2 credits a call; `meta.search_mode` is `country_feed` and `meta.feed_window` states the window. A `date_from` older than 31 days is refused with 400. Event types: `new_incorporation`, `director_change`, `capital_change`, `address_change`, `name_change`, `merger`, `demerger`, `dissolution`, `liquidation`, `insolvency`, `status_change`, `filing`, `correction`, `object_change`, `bylaws_change`, `legal_form_change`, `ownership_change`, `power_of_attorney`, `sale_of_business`, `debt_default`, `registry_closure`, `registry_reopening`, `reactivation`, `litigation`, `securities_issue`, `branch`, `charge`, `resolution`, `website`, `other`. 9 Oct 2026: 19 finer types are served; `event_type=status_change` now matches only status changes no finer type describes (for ES it matches no BORME act any more); `power_of_attorney` (BORME Apoderamiento) used to be `director_change`, `securities_issue` used to be `capital_change`, `sale_of_business` (FR vente/cession) used to be `merger`. FI/SE/BE/HR/DK/EE/SK/US register-change events now carry `legal_form_change`, `reactivation` and `other` (removed from register) instead of `status_change`. Signals: `registry_closure`, `debt_default` and `litigation` are `distress`; `reactivation` and `registry_reopening` are `growth`; the rest of the new types are `neutral`. Matches for ES, FR and GB alike, derived from each register's own act/filing code (see `Event.act_type`); a raw GB Companies House code (e.g. `OFFICER_CHANGE`) still works as an alias. Norway, Ireland and Poland publish no corporate-event gazette: `country=NO|IE|PL` returns register-change events (name, status, legal form, registered address), dated when the change first appears in the register data, none before 14 Oct 2026 (the same act types as below). Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Latvia, Cyprus, Romania, Lithuania, Canada, Australia, Japan, Israel, Singapore, Colombia, Taiwan, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Germany and the United States publish no gazette either: `country=FI|SE|BE|HR|DK|EE|SK|CH|LV|CY|RO|US|LT|CA|AU|JP|IL|SG|CO|TW|BR|CZ|DE` returns register-change events (`act_type` `registered`, `name_change`, `legal_form_change`, `address_change`, `capital_change` for HR, EE, SK, CH, LV, LT, TW, BR and CZ, `status:<token>`, `removed_from_register`, `returned_to_register`), dated by the load that first saw the change (`raw_data.date_basis` is `first_seen_in_register`), never by the date the register published it. An empty list means no change has been seen yet.
