The next page of one child's unread updates, for the catch-up modal.

The feed's own RPC narrowed to this child (`p_child_id`) at `offset + limit`,
so the page shares the feed's scope, unread window and total order exactly.
That caps paging at the RPC's 50 per child; past it the modal points at the
child's timeline.
