# Unlock Document

`POST /documents/{child_id}/{document_id}/unlock`

Unlock a password-protected PDF and re-queue it for processing.

The password decrypts the stored file in-request; the decrypted bytes
overwrite the stored object, the document resets to ``pending`` and
re-enqueues. The password is never logged, echoed or written to any table,
job, or trace - it lives only in the request body and local variables.

RLS: the user-scoped client proves ownership / family access. Keyed off
``document_id`` so it is path-agnostic (works for a doc uploaded via chat,
Records, clinic, email or mobile).
