Thin transport wrapper over `capture_favourite_thing` - the append-only
dedup + canonical L4 projection/embedding live in that shared helper so
this REST route and the GraphQL `setFavouriteThing` mutation stay
byte-identical. A blank value is a success no-op (`note_id: null`).

Authentication: JWT required
