# Delete a file

`DELETE /files/{fileId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://public-api.process.st/api/v1.1`
- URL: `https://public-api.process.st/api/v1.1/files/{fileId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Removes a file from your Library. It can be restored from Settings > Activity in the app.
