# Deposit failed

`POST wallet.deposit_account.deposit_failed` (webhook)

Fired when a fiat deposit into a deposit account could not be processed and the funds were refunded to the sender.

## Payload

  - `type` 'wallet.deposit_account.deposit_failed', required: The type of webhook event.
  - `provider_deposit_id` string: The deposit's ID in the provider's system (e.g. Bridge), when the provider assigned one.
  - `deposit_account_id` string, required
  - `wallet_id` string, required
  - `deposit_type` 'fiat', required
  - `provider` 'bridge', required: Supported fiat orchestration providers.
  - `environment` 'sandbox' | 'production', required: The Privy API environment.
  - `data` DepositFailedData, required: Details of a fiat deposit that failed to convert and was refunded to the sender.
    - `destination` DepositStartedDestination, required: The crypto asset and chain the fiat deposit is being converted into.
      - `asset` string, required: The crypto asset the deposit is converted into (e.g. "usdc").
      - `chain` string, required: The chain the converted crypto is delivered on (e.g. "base").
    - `source` DepositStartedSource, required: The fiat deposit that was received, including amount, currency, and originator.
      - `sender_name` string
      - `payment_rail` string: The payment rail the deposit arrived on. Known values include "sepa", "ach_push", "wire", "fednow", "faster_payments", "pix", "spei", but the provider may return others.
      - `amount` string, required: The fiat amount deposited.
      - `currency` 'usd' | 'eur' | 'gbp' | 'brl' | 'mxn' | 'cop', required: Fiat currencies a deposit account can receive deposits in.
    - `reason` string, required
    - `reason_code` string, required
    - `refunded_at` string, required
    - `created_at` string, required

## Acknowledgement `200`

Return a 200 status to indicate that the webhook was received successfully.
