# Freeze user

`POST /v1/users/{user_id}/freeze`

## Request

Freezes a user by user ID, blocking new logins and revoking active sessions.

## Path parameters

- `user_id` string, required: ID of the user.

## Headers

- `privy-app-id` string, required: ID of your Privy app.

## Response `200`

The user was frozen.
