# Create organization secret

`POST /v1/teams/{account_id}/secrets`

Create an organization secret for an account. This endpoint is intended for dashboard-admin use.

## Path parameters

- `account_id` string, required

## Response `200`

The newly created organization secret.

- CreateOrganizationSecretResponse: Response returned when creating a new organization secret.
  - `id` string, required: Unique secret identifier
  - `last_four` string, required: Last four characters of the secret
  - `created_at` string, required: ISO 8601 creation timestamp
  - `revoked_at` string, nullable, required: ISO 8601 revocation timestamp, or null if active
  - `signing_public_key` string, nullable, required: P-256 public key in PEM format for request signing, or null if not configured
  - `organization_secret` string, required: The plaintext organization secret. Returned only at creation time.
