# Create organization

`POST /v1/organizations`

Create an organization in an app.

## Headers

- `privy-app-id` string, required: ID of your Privy app.

## Request body

- OrganizationCreateRequestBody: Request body for creating an organization.
  - `display_name` string, required
  - `default_key_quorum_id` string, cuid2, required: A unique identifier for a key quorum.

## Response `200`

The created organization.

- Organization: A Privy organization object.
  - `id` string, required: Unique organization identifier
  - `display_name` string, required: Organization display name
  - `default_key_quorum_id` string, cuid2, required: A unique identifier for a key quorum.
  - `created_at` number, required: Unix timestamp when the organization was created
  - `updated_at` number, required: Unix timestamp when the organization was last updated
