# Start a Google Drive import

`POST /api/v1/imports/google-drive`

## Request

Start an import of one explicit Google Drive video or audio file. Public files are attempted directly. Private files use the Google Drive connection established by the account through PrismClip's normal OAuth flow; provider tokens never enter this API payload.

## Other responses

- `202`: The remote import was queued.
- `400`: The URL is invalid or does not identify one explicit Google Drive file.
- `401`: The API key is missing or invalid, or the private file requires an account Google Drive connection.
- `403`: The API key lacks projects:write.
- `413`: Provider metadata shows that the source exceeds the remote-source limit.
- `422`: The file is unavailable, is not media, or cannot be downloaded.
- `429`: The API-key rate limit was exceeded.
- `503`: Remote import storage, queueing, or Google Drive is unavailable.
