# Get the organization name and logo

`GET /organization`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.primitive.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.primitive.dev/v1/organization`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The organization's name and logo as members and invitees see them.

Person only: a dashboard session or the person's own OAuth token (the CLI or an app they connected). API keys, agent connection keys and agents are refused.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Authenticated caller lacks permission for the operation
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: conflict: the change conflicts with the organization profile as it stands.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. The `ratelimit-*` headers describe the limiter that rejected this request, with its own limit and window, not the API budget that successful responses report. A limiter that reports only a wait sends `Retry-After` alone.
- `502`: upstream_unavailable: the organization profile could not be reached, or (after a write) the change was saved but could not be read back. Retryable for a read; read the profile again before repeating a write.
- `503`: upstream_unavailable: the organization profile is temporarily unavailable. Retry-After says when to retry.
