# update Agent Connection Settings

## Request

Update the organization agent settings. Set idle_hide_after_days to a whole number of days from 1 to 365, or null to turn auto-hide off. Turning it off, or raising it, shows again the agents that were hidden for idleness and no longer qualify. Manual hides are unchanged. Organization owners and admins only.

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Authenticated caller lacks permission for the operation

- `409`: The request conflicts with the current state of the resource
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. The `ratelimit-*` headers describe the limiter that rejected this request, with its own limit and window, not the API budget that successful responses report. A limiter that reports only a wait sends `Retry-After` alone.
