# set Agent Connection Visibility

`PATCH /agent-connections/{address}/visibility`

## Request

Hide, unhide, pin or unpin an agent. hidden:true hides it until someone unhides it and clears any pin. hidden:false shows it again and restarts its idle clock, so the idle sweep does not hide it again until it has been idle for the full threshold from now. keep_visible:true pins it visible: it is shown and never hidden for idleness. keep_visible:false removes the pin. hidden:true together with keep_visible:true is rejected. Never changes the connection status, its credential or mail delivery. A current personal owner may change their own agents; organization owners and admins may change any.

- `409`: The request conflicts with the current state of the resource
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. The `ratelimit-*` headers describe the limiter that rejected this request, with its own limit and window, not the API budget that successful responses report. A limiter that reports only a wait sends `Retry-After` alone.
