# Deletes a user account.

`DELETE /api/users/{uuid}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pricklymails.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.pricklymails.com/api/users/{uuid}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

## Path parameters

- `uuid` string, required

## Request body

- DeleteUserRequest: Request body for `DELETE /api/users/:uuid`.
  - `password` string, required: The current password, required to confirm account deletion.

## Response `204`

Account deleted.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid or wrong password, or already deleted.
- `401`: Missing or invalid JWT.
- `403`: Caller is not permitted to delete this user.
- `404`: No user with this UUID.
