# Sends a fresh confirmation code for a signup whose code expired, was burned by wrong guesses, or never arrived.

`POST /api/auth/resend-confirmation`

## Request body

- ResendConfirmationRequest: Request body for `POST /api/auth/resend-confirmation`.
  - `email` string, required: The email address of the account requesting a fresh confirmation code.

## Response `204`

A new code sent if the address is registered, not yet confirmed, its last code is older than the resend cooldown, and it has not reached its daily allowance of codes. Same response in every other case.

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed email address.
