# Copy a Condition Type

`POST /conditiontypemanager.copy/{typedId}`

Creates a duplicate of an existing Compensation Condition Type (`COCT`). The copy's `label` and `uniqueName` are automatically prefixed with `"Copy of "` and truncated to the maximum allowed length (255 characters), so the request succeeds even when the source name is at or near the limit.
