# Check an order checkout before paying

`GET /teams/{slug}/orders/{order_id}/checkout/state`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.presscart.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.presscart.com/teams/{slug}/orders/{order_id}/checkout/state`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Read-only. Reports whether the checkout session the page has mounted is still the current session of the order, with the total and credits on the order.

- `order_id` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `session_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Checkout state

- object
  - `session_id` string, required
  - `current` boolean, required: True only when the mounted session is the order current session
  - `total` number, required: The card total on the order, in dollars
  - `credits_applied` number, required: Credits held for the order, in dollars

## Other responses

- `400`: The order id is not a uuid, or the order was cancelled
- `401`: Not signed in
- `403`: Not a member of the team, or the team does not exist
- `404`: The order, or the given session, does not belong to the team
