# Create a Credit

`POST /admin/credits`

## Request

Post a credit grant or debit to the team ledger.

## Other responses

- `400`: The credit request failed validation
- `401`: The access token is missing or invalid, or the team has no owner
- `403`: Only staff (admins, support agents and writers) can post credits
- `404`: The order or the posted credit was not found
- `409`: The idempotency key was already used for a different request
- `422`: The team balance is insufficient for a debit
- `503`: The ledger is temporarily frozen (code LEDGER_FROZEN)
