# Trigger Deploy

Queue a deploy of the currently configured branch on the connected repository. The endpoint returns 202 Accepted with the deploy identifier; deploy progress is then asynchronous. Poll GET /sites/{site_id}/git/history (or subscribe to the git_deploy_completed webhook, which fires on success and failure alike — branch on git.state) for the outcome. That webhook reports deploy status rather than a single final event: it may be delivered more than once for one deploy, and is not sent for a deploy interrupted by a connection or timeout error, so treat the history endpoint as authoritative.
