# Search Brand Kits

`GET /brand-kits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.presentations.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.presentations.ai/api/v1/brand-kits`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Search the brand kits you can style a deck with; pass a result's `id` to `POST /decks`.

Includes published brands, your workspace's kits and your own unshared kits. A brand limited to
approved email domains appears only when your verified email domain is one of them.

## Query parameters

- `q` string, nullable: Brand name or domain to search for.
- `domain` string, nullable: Exact brand domain, e.g. `acme.com`.
- `type` 'CATALOG' | 'WORKSPACE' | 'PERSONAL': Where a visible kit comes from.
- `page` integer
- `limit` integer

    - `id` string, uuid, required: Pass as `brand_kit_id` to `POST /decks`.
    - `name` string, required: The brand.
    - `domain` string, nullable: The brand's domain; null for generic style kits.
    - `type` 'CATALOG' | 'WORKSPACE' | 'PERSONAL', required: Where a visible kit comes from.
    - `access` 'PUBLIC' | 'DOMAIN' | 'WORKSPACE' | 'OWNER', required: Why the caller can see a kit.
    - `logo_url` string, nullable: The brand mark, when the kit has one.
    - `colors` string[]: Brand colours as hex.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, expired, or revoked Bearer API key.
- `403`: The API key, workspace role, project scope, or plan lacks permission.
- `422`: A path, query, header, or request-body field failed validation.
- `429`: The caller exceeded the API rate limit.
- `500`: Unexpected server failure. Retry only idempotent operations and retain trace_id.
