# Upcoming NBA matches with predictions

`GET /v1/predictions/nba/upcoming`

Returns matches whose scheduled date falls in the inclusive window ``[today, today + days]``. The filter is a SQL ``BETWEEN`` against ``daily_predictions.prediction_date`` — equivalent to ``prediction_date >= today AND prediction_date <= today + days``. ``today`` is the server's current UTC date at request time. A match scheduled for today itself is included. Returns ``{matches: [], count: 0}`` (HTTP 200) when no rows fall in the window — typically because the season has ended or the inference pipeline has not produced predictions for upcoming dates yet. Use ``/v1/predictions/nba/search`` to query historical matches.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `days` integer: Look-ahead horizon in days. Defines the upper bound of the inclusive window ``[today, today + days]``. Default 7, max 60.

    - `predicted_point_diff` number, nullable: Expected (home_points - away_points). Positive = home favoured. Source: dedicated Poisson spread regressor (independent of the winner classifier behind home_team.win_probability).
