# Find Serie A players and their Fantacalcio codes

`GET /v1/fantasy/fantacalcio/players`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.predixsport.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.predixsport.com/v1/fantasy/fantacalcio/players`
- Auth: none declared

Searches this season's Fantacalcio player catalog and returns each match with the code that identifies him, his Classic role and his club. Use it before saving a squad: a squad is stored in CODES, because a printed name may be re-spelled between matchweeks while a code is stable across clubs and seasons. The search is accent insensitive and matches anywhere in the name, so `vlahovic` finds `Vlahović`. `role` narrows to P, D, C or A. Results are capped and the response says how many matched in total, so a broad search is visibly a sample rather than the whole list. This is a read of our own catalog and it publishes no statistics, no lineup information and no availability. The Fantacalcio workspace is in a private beta: this endpoint answers 403 for an account outside it.
