# Propose an attestation

`POST /v1/oracle/attestations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://origin.predictasiax.com`
- URL: `https://origin.predictasiax.com/v1/oracle/attestations`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Requires an api-key with the oracle:write scope and a funded PAX bond. The market must be closed and not yet resolved.

## Request body

- ProposeAttestationRequest
  - `market_id` string, required
  - `proposed_outcome` string, required: The outcome the proposer attests resolves the market.
  - `evidence_urls` string[]
  - `provider_id` string: Optional provider to credit the attestation to.

## Response `201`

Attestation proposed; proposer bond locked.

## Other responses

- `402`: Insufficient available PAX bond.
- `403`: Key lacks the oracle:write scope.
- `404`: Market not found.
- `409`: Market already resolved/cancelled, or not closed yet.
