# Challenge an attestation

`POST /v1/oracle/attestations/{id}/challenge`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://origin.predictasiax.com`
- URL: `https://origin.predictasiax.com/v1/oracle/attestations/{id}/challenge`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Requires an api-key with the oracle:write scope and a funded PAX bond. Opens a dispute within the liveness window.

Dispute recorded; disputer bond locked.

## Other responses

- `400`: Empty outcome, or attempt to dispute your own attestation.
- `402`: Insufficient available PAX bond.
- `403`: Key lacks the oracle:write scope.
- `409`: Attestation not open for dispute, or liveness window closed.
