# Create a job for semantic assessment

`POST /v1/quality/semantics/jobs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cloud.precisely.com`
- URL: `https://api.cloud.precisely.com/v1/quality/semantics/jobs`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a job for semantic assessment of the specified asset. Returns a job response with a unique job identifier.

## Request body

- SemanticJobRequest: Request payload for semantic job submission
  - `assetGroupId` string: Asset group ID for semantic assessment
  - `assetIds` string[]: List of asset IDs for semantic assessment
  - `name` string: Optional semantic job name

## Response `201`

Semantic assessment job created successfully

- JobResponse: Response containing the job ID for a submitted job request
  - `jobId` string: Unique identifier for the job

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid job request
- `404`: Metric type or asset not found
- `500`: Internal server error
