# Start a pipeline

`POST /v1/quality/pipelines/jobs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cloud.precisely.com`

Creates and starts a new data quality pipeline job with the specified pipeline and run configuration

## Request body

- PipelineJobCreateRequest: Request object for creating a new pipeline job
  - `runConfigId` string: Unique identifier of the run configuration to use for the pipeline job

## Response `200`

Pipeline job created successfully

- PipelineJobCreateResponse
  - `jobId` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `403`: Forbidden - insufficient permissions
- `500`: Internal server error
