# Performs batch email verification

`POST /v1/emails/verify/batch`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cloud.precisely.com`
- URL: `https://api.cloud.precisely.com/v1/emails/verify/batch`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

This endpoint is for batch email verification upto maximum batch size 10.

## Headers

- `X-Request-Id` string

## Request body

- EmailVerificationBatchRequest: The email address to be validated along with optional parameter id
  - `emails` EmailWithId[], required: List of email to be verified
    - `id` string, nullable: Id for the response
    - `email` string, required: The email address that needs to be validated

## Response `200`

Batch Emails Verified Successfully

- EmailVerificationBatchResponse: response of batch email verification
  - `responses` EmailBatchResponse[]: List of emails validated
    - `status` 'OK' | 'ZERO_RESULTS': Represents the status of a response
    - `id` string: id of the response
    - `code` string: Error code from the service
    - `detail` string: Error details from the service
    - `email` EmailVerification: Email Verification Response
      - `address` string: The email address to be validated
      - `result` string: The status of the validated email
      - `subResult` string: The sub status of the validated email
      - `freeEmail` string: [true/false] If the email comes from a free provider
      - `didYouMean` string: Suggestive Fix for an email typo
      - `account` string: The portion of the email address before the "@" symbol
      - `domain` string: The portion of the email address after the "@" symbol
      - `domainAgeDays` string: Age of the email domain in days
      - `smtpProvider` string: The SMTP Provider of the email
      - `mxFound` string: [true/false] Does the domain have an MX record
      - `mxRecord` string: The preferred MX record of the domain
      - `firstName` string: The first name of the owner of the email when available
      - `lastName` string: The last name of the owner of the email when available
      - `gender` string: The gender of the owner of the email when available
      - `processedAt` string: The time the email was validated in ISO 8601 format
      - `error` string: message from the underlying service

## Other responses

- `206`: Batch Emails Verified partially
- `400`: Invalid request for Batch Email API
- `401`: Unauthorized: Invalid token for Batch Email API
- `403`: Forbidden for Batch Email API
- `413`: Request entity too large for Batch Email API
- `429`: Too many requests for Batch Email API
- `500`: Internal Server Error for Batch Email API
- `503`: Batch Email Verification Service unavailable
