# Start or stop project pipelines of any type

`POST /v1/integration/projects/{projectId}/pipelines/trigger`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://integration-adapter.connect.cloud.precisely.com`

Starts or stops project pipelines through the implementation selected by `projectType`.

**Features:**
- Supports START and STOP through one type-agnostic public endpoint.
- Preserves the Connect Portal status and safe response headers.

**Use Cases:**
- Start selected or all pipelines after deployment.
- Stop selected or all running pipelines before maintenance.

**Authorization:** Requires `replication-pipeline::operate`.

## Request body

- UnifiedProjectTriggerRequest: Request to start or stop project pipelines through the unified trigger endpoint.
  - `action` 'START' | 'STOP', required: Runtime action to execute.
  - `options` UnifiedProjectRuntimeOptions: Project-type options for start or stop. At most one branch may be supplied.
    - `continuous` UnifiedContinuousRuntimeOptions: Continuous Replication start and stop options.
      - `dataFlowNames` string[]: Data flow names to start or stop. Omitted or empty means all data flows.
      - `sourceDataConnectionName` string: Source data connection used for a selective-recopy start. Only one connection is supported because selective recopy targets a single data flow.
      - `qualifiedTableNames` string[]: Qualified table names for a selective-recopy start. Use catalog||schema||table or schema||table, as applicable to the source type.
      - `resumeRequest` boolean: Whether START resumes synchronization instead of starting from copy.
    - `mainframe` UnifiedMainframeRuntimeOptions: Mainframe Replication start and stop options.
      - `pipelineIds` string[]: Pipeline identifiers to start or stop. Omitted or empty means all pipelines.
    - `advanced` unknown
