# Get mainframe files and directories for a pipeline

`GET /v1/integration/mainframe/projects/{projectId}/pipelines/{pipelineId}/files`

## Request

Retrieves the list of mainframe files and directories associated with the specified pipeline within a project.

**Features:**
- Complete file and directory metadata retrieval
- Hidden/system files excluded by default (`includeHidden=false`)
- File application type classification
- User tracking information (created by, modified by)
- Pipeline and data flow associations
- Directory structure and composition

Successfully retrieved files

- MainframeFileResponse: Represents the response containing mainframe file metadata and content.
  - `id` string: Unique identifier of the mainframe file.
  - `fileName` string: Name of the mainframe file.
  - `fileContent` string: Base64-encoded content of the mainframe file.
  - `contentHash` string: SHA-256 content hash of the decoded file bytes.
  - `size` integer: File size in bytes.
  - `uploadedDate` string, date-time: Date when the file was uploaded.
  - `modifiedDate` string, date-time: Date when the file was last modified.
  - `lastModifiedBy` string: Username of the last person who modified the file.
  - `fileApplicationType` 'ENGINE_SCRIPT' | 'CONFIGURATION': Application type of the file, e.g., ENGINE_SCRIPT or CONFIGURATION.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - Validation failed due to one of the following reasons: - Invalid project ID - Invalid pipeline ID
- `401`: Unauthorized - Authentication required, valid credentials not provided
- `403`: Forbidden - User lacks 'replication-pipeline::view' permission
- `404`: Not Found - Pipeline not found or files/directories not found for the given pipeline
- `500`: Internal Server Error - Server encountered an unexpected condition, such as: - File retrieval failure
