# Generates a pre-signed url for a user

`POST /v1/li/files/upload-url`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cloud.precisely.com`
- URL: `https://api.cloud.precisely.com/v1/li/files/upload-url`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

This endpoint generates a pre-signed Url for uploading a file. The file name is provided in the request body. The pre-signed Url can be used to upload the file without needing to authenticate again.

  - `fileName` string: Name of the file to upload

## Response `200`

pre-signed url in UploadUrlResponse

- UploadUrlResponse: Upload url response
  - `fileId` string, required: file Id for uploading file
  - `url` string, url, required: pre signed url for uploading the file on S3
  - `message` string, required: message for the response

## Other responses

- `400`: Input file name should not be empty
- `401`: Unauthorized: Invalid token
- `403`: Forbidden
- `429`: Too many requests
- `500`: Internal Server Error
- `503`: Service Unavailable
