# Send a test event to an endpoint

`POST /v1/webhooks/{id}/test`

## Request

Queue a synthetic `post.posted` event with `data.test=true` for immediate dispatch. The dispatch cron picks up pending deliveries every minute, so the receiver should observe the test within ~60 seconds. Useful for sanity-checking a newly-registered endpoint without waiting for real publish activity.
