# List the writing assistant's models

`GET /v1/models/assistant`

## Request

The writing assistant's model slots and the exact model behind each one right now. Slots follow their family's newest model, so the model, its id and its price are resolved live and can change without notice.

      - `id` string, required: The slot's alias, which always follows its family's newest model.
      - `label` string, required: What the slot is called in the app, e.g. "Fast".
      - `proOnly` boolean, required: Whether the slot needs a plan with every assistant model.
      - `live` object, nullable, required: Null when the live model list could not be read; the slot still works.
        - `id` string, required: The exact model the alias points to right now, e.g. "openai/gpt-6-luna".
        - `name` string, required
        - `maker` string, required
        - `description` string, required: The first sentence of the model's own description.
        - `releasedAt` string, nullable, required: ISO date the model was released.
        - `inputPrice` number, required: US dollars per million input tokens.
        - `outputPrice` number, required: US dollars per million output tokens.
        - `usable` boolean, required: False when the model can no longer call tools or read images.
