# Analyze niche & propose instruction edits

`POST /v1/content-groups/{groupId}/analyze`

## Request

Run the self-improving loop for a content group: search popular content in its niche, then draft instruction-edit proposals (or auto-apply them if mode/auto_improve is on). Returns a summary + a jobId to poll. Proposals appear at GET /v1/content-groups/{groupId}/instruction-proposals.

## Path parameters

- `groupId` string, required: Content group ID

## Request body

- object
  - `mode` 'propose' | 'auto': Override the group's auto_improve setting for this run. 'propose' queues edits for approval; 'auto' applies them immediately.
  - `platforms` string[]: Platforms to search for niche trends. Defaults to all.
  - `limit` integer: Max popular posts per platform.

## Response `202`

Analysis complete; proposals drafted (or applied).
