# comment.created

`POST comment.created` (webhook)

A comment was successfully created on a platform post.

## Payload

- WebhookEventComment: Envelope shared by every webhook delivery.
  - `id` string, required: Delivery ID, prefixed with whevt_. Matches the X-Postproxy-Delivery header.
  - `object` 'event', required: Always "event".
  - `type` string, required: Event type (e.g. platform_post.published). Matches the X-Postproxy-Event header.
  - `created_at` string, required: ISO 8601 timestamp of when the event was generated.
  - `data` object, required: Container for the event-specific resource.
    - `object` object: Comment payload shape.
      - `id` string: Comment ID.
      - `post_id` string: Parent post ID.
      - `platform_post_id` string: Platform post ID.
      - `platform` string: Network name (e.g. instagram, facebook).
      - `profile_id` string: ID of the profile that owns the post.
      - `external_id` string, nullable: Comment ID on the platform.
      - `parent_external_id` string, nullable: Parent comment ID (null for top-level comments).
      - `body` string: Comment text.
      - `status` 'published' | 'failed' | 'failed_waiting_for_retry'
      - `error` string, nullable: Error summary (null on success).
      - `error_details` PlatformErrorDetails, nullable: Structured platform error (omitted when no platform error info is available).
        - `platform_error_code` string, nullable: Error code returned by the platform API
        - `platform_error_subcode` string, nullable: Error subcode returned by the platform API
        - `platform_error_message` string, nullable: Error message returned by the platform API
        - `postproxy_note` string, nullable: Additional context from Postproxy about the error
      - `author_external_id` string, nullable: Author's ID on the platform.
      - `author_name` string, nullable: Author's display name.
      - `author_username` string, nullable: Author's username.
      - `author_avatar_url` string, nullable: Stable Postproxy storage URL of the author's profile picture once mirrored; the platform URL until then
      - `like_count` integer: Number of likes.
      - `reply_count` integer: Number of replies.
      - `is_hidden` boolean: Whether the comment is hidden.
      - `permalink` string, nullable: Direct link to the comment.
      - `platform_data` object, nullable: Platform-specific metadata.
      - `external_edited_at` string, nullable: ISO 8601 time of the last edit confirmed through Postproxy (null if never edited)
      - `posted_at` string, nullable: ISO 8601 time when posted on the platform.
      - `created_at` string: ISO 8601 creation time.
