# Update location

`PATCH /api/profiles/{profile_id}/google_business/update_location`

## Request

Field-masked update of the location. fields names exactly which parts of the resource are replaced; anything named in fields but absent from the body is cleared, and nested objects are replaced wholesale. Read the resource first, edit it, then patch only what changed. Patchable fields: title, storeCode, websiteUri, phoneNumbers, categories, storefrontAddress, serviceArea, labels, latlng, openInfo, profile. Naming a field in fields without sending a value returns 400.

## Response `200`

The updated location resource

- object: Google's own resource shape, camelCased keys, passed through unchanged

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing required parameters.
- `401`: Invalid, missing, or insufficient API key permissions.
- `403`: Google refused the operation for this account
- `404`: Resource does not exist or is not accessible.
- `422`: Validation failed.
- `429`: Posting rate limit reached.
